Louisiana New Orleans, French Quarter, 1890s Print

This print is from a rare, oversized Victorian-era book from the 1890s. It has two stacked photos with a caption underneath. The images show the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana, as it looked over 110 years ago! Forgive the poor quality scan that doesn't do this print justice. The picture has much smoother tones and a lot more detail than this scan shows. In fact you can read the headlines on the pasted placards behind the little girl standing in the street-- including a lottery announcement with "$30,000 Capital Prize".

The page measures approx. 10.75x13 inches, and the actual image area is about 8x10 inches (20x25.5 cm).  The page is in excellent condition for its age EXCEPT for a closed tear in the margin. It has another photo on the back, but it is not visible through paper.

All prints are delivered in an archival sleeve and packed flat with heavy cardboard or rolled in a sturdy tube. I stand behind my products and offer a FULL REFUND if you think the product does not match the description in any way.
