Rare Set of 6 Antique

Brown-Westhead Moore & Co.

Cauldon Ware

Gilded Floral Plates

From a Connecticut Estate Collection of antique china and porcelain comes this exquisite set of

6 Vintage Brown-Westhead Moore & Co.

Plates, c1910.

They measure 9" across with scrolled, embossed and hand-gilded rims.

The background porcelain is a creamy ivory in color, and the dishes have flattened rims with gently sloping wells.

The pattern consists of delicate sprays of multi-colored flowers on slender stems.

Tiny sprigs decorate the ribboned cartouches along the shaped and embossed edges.

The hand-painted gilding includes tiny fine scalloped "lacework" just inside the rim gold.

The dishes are all in exceptionally fine vintage condition, with a high gloss and no chips, cracks stains or repairs.

They are backmarked as shown below, along with the artist's hand-numbered
B 6444 and the initial "W".

A rare and stunning set of vintage English porcelain, starting at a small fraction of value, and selling with No Reserve.
