THIS BEAUTIFUL TEAPOT STANDS ABOUT 4" HIGH WITHOUT THE LID AND THE BODY HAS A DIAMETER OF 2 3/4"(WITHOUT THE HANDLE OR SPOUT)

THE JADE IN THIS TEAPOT IS REALLY NICE. IT IS VERY LUMINESCENT & A VERY UNUSUAL SHADE OF GREEN.  THE SILVER IS  NOT BADLY TARNISHED AND IS ALL IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THE TOP AND THE LID ARE BOTH ENAMELED WITH A  BLUE BACKGROUND AND DRAGONS PAYING AROUND. TWO SILVER DRAGONS ARE ON THE SIDES.

THE GODDESS KWAN YIN (OR GUAN YIN)-THE GODDESS OF MERCY AND COMPASSION-SITS AT THE VERY TOP OF THE LID.

THERE ARE TWO SETS OF CHARACTERS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE TEAPOT. I BELIEVE ONE SET IS DYNASTY MARKS-THE OTHER COULD BE THE SIGNATURE OF THE ARTIST WHO MADE THIS FABULOUS TEAPOT.
