    This is a biography of Anastasia, the daughter of the Czar Nicholas II.  She was killed with her family in 1918.  However, a woman later surfaced claiming to have escaped and to be Anastasia.  The author knew her when she was a child, when his father was the court physician to the Czar.  The author supports her contention.  This book ends in the early 1930s with Anastasia’s move from the U.S. to Germany.

    The book has many family pictures.

    The book has a yellow cloth cover with the title and cover design repeated on the spine. The corners are bumped, the cover edges are frayed, and the spine darkened.  There is some soiling of the cove as well, and there is some rubbing and chipping.  The pages are yellowed but not brittle in the least.  There is a book plate on the front paste down.

    There is no dust jacket.
