Antique Japanese Key

Antique key for Japanese tansu (chest of drawers) or box.   Seems to be made from iron or steel but not certain what the material is.

Measures
Overall: 2 1/4"
Shaft: 1 3/16"
Grove at tip: 1/8" x 1/4"
Grove length in shaft: 3/4"
Blade (the portion that trips the lock): 5/32" width; 1/2" height; 7/16" length; 1/8" widest space between blades.

Usual wear and oxidation.  Overall in good working condition.
