Hawaiian paniolo (cowboy) ready for roping in Kamuela 

 

A collection inspired by the beautiful traditions, natural beauty and diverse people of Hawaii, Mary Jo Kent has been hand-crafting these ornaments for over thirty years.  Each figurine that leaves her Kailua home is graced with the "Aloha Spirit", a reflection of the native cultural heritage. As shown in the photos, a 1992 feature in Family Circle magazine highlighted her ornament "Lei Greeter" hung on the Christmas tree at the prestigious Smithsonian Institute.  Reserve a space on your tree for these special ornaments as Mary Jo, now in her nineties, crafts a very limited number each year.

 

Historically these ornaments have only been available at local craft fairs and never in stores or on line.I am fortunate enough to have the opportunity to make these ornaments available to my customers for the first time on ebaY. This ornament will make a great addition to your collection.
