This item up for auction is described as follows: This is one bi-color camouflaged British Mark V Mother Male WW1 Tank. Tank is void of any makers mark brand or reference numbers but is thought to be a proto-type for any one of several well known WW1 toy soldier manufacturers (Trophy of Wales Ltd., Tommy Atkins ect....). We are not sure if tank is a King & Country, Britains, Trophy of Wales Ltd, Tommy Atkins, Tradition of London or another makers product, it is just listed in these categories. Tank was purchased in the 1999- 2000 time period from a toy soldier purveyor Anthony “Tony” Ciccarello the proprietor of The Toy Soldier Gallery and Armies In Plastic located in Highland Falls, N.Y. directly across the street from the famous West Point Military Academy. This tank weighs in at a hefty 6lbs. and obviously has been crafted by a professional who paid meticulous attention to detail regarding true structure from the tread pattern down to the rivets. Measurements are 10” L X 5” W at the widest point X 3" H. For all intent and purpose, this rare replica armor piece is one of a kind in the scale range of 54mm to 60mm. Condition of tank is rated in at Very good to excellent that has never been displayed. Original red box with yellow padding is in good condition with shelf wear and does not have any labels. The color of this box looks very similar to those indicative of Trophy of Wales Ltd. or Tradition of London.
