Toy sewing machine with integrated table clamp. Distributed by the Deutsche Nahmaschinenfabrik. A very rare machine, I am only able to find limited information about its origins and value. It is pictured in Glenda Thomas' pricing guide to antique toy and miniature sewing machines. This was part of an extensive collection of fine sewing antiques assembled by my mother over many years.

In very good condition. Has been stored in a cool/dry climate controlled environment.

A: Yes it appears to be cast iron, at least most of it, to my untrained eye. It's roughly 8" x 8" in size, very small. I'm not sure what a looper is - keep in mind I am dissolving a collection of antiques... Continue reading
