This is a wonderful 3 piece Sterling Silver Child's Cereal set, it has a plate, bowl and cup. The mark is The McChesney Co., Newark, NJ, 1921-1926. McChesney was one of the original founders of Kerr. The firm was taken over by Dominick & Haff in 1926, in short succession it was resold to Reed & Barton and finally was in the hands of Gorham by 1931.
Each piece has a raised designs of nursery rhymes, they are all different nursery rhymes. Very nice detail. The plate measures about 5.75" across, the bowl about 4" across, and the cup about 3" across. It is in very good condition, tiny minor scratches. The cup has small character dents, but nothing bad. The name Gloria Lee is engraved on each piece. Please email me with questions.
