These (3) VINTAGE wooden pieces are from “THE CATS’ MEOW” by FALINE. All (3) are in excellent condition for VINTAGE pieces.
There is one, from the “Fall Series” is titled “MAIL POUCH TOBACCO FARM” by “Faline ’86”, ©1986. The front features a barn in dark red with (3) large doors, outlined in cream-color, a smaller dutch-type door with the silhouette of a ct seated nearby. On the backside, on a flat black background is the ad “CHEW MAIL POUCH TOBACCO TREAT YOURSELF TO THE BEST.” Measures 5” across, 5” from base to roof peak and is ¾” thick. Weight is 6oz.
Another piece is from the “SAVANNAH XMAS SERIES,” the “LAFAYETTE SQUARE HOUSE” by “Faline ’86”, ©1986. The house is done in red “brick.” Christ wreaths are painted on each of the shuttered windows and on the front door. The backside has only unadorned windows. Measures 4 3/8” x 4 ¾” from base to the top and is ¾” thick. Weight is 4oz. Signature cat silhouette is at the base of the steps.
Smallest of the group is ©1984 “THE CAT’S MEOW, THE MUSIC SHOP” by “Faline ’86.” The shop windows, which feature musical instruments, are shaded by a green & white awning. A cat silhouette is seen on the awning. The shop, in forest green with black roof & chimney, measures 3 ½” across, 4 ½” from base to top of chimney; ¾” thick. Weight is 3oz.
