Vintage Asian/Egyptian/African Christmas tree skirt.








 

This is probably from the 1940s.  There is a slight scent of old fabric, I have not attempted to clean it.  I am uncertain of the ethnicity of the dancers, maybe Balinese or Hindu.  I am certain it would make an awesome Christmas tree skirt.  Mid opening measures 8" in diameter and the skirt is 64" in diameter.  Some rhinestones on the foreheads of several figures.  Liner is rather thick and has a few rust colored stains that do not show thru.  Such a cool, unusual piece.
