 This fun 1950s-60s figurine you see in the photo is from a rather wonderful collection of small bisques- a dizzying assortment of little fellows and animals!

She looks like Little Red Riding hood to us, with her red kerchief and basket- and look at her run! Her little tag reads "To Market", and I guess that's where the dog is going, too! Marked with a paper tag "Japan", she is just under 6" tall and has an opening in the back so she can also be used as a planter or small jar. She is missing a thumb, but otherwise no chips or cracks, just a good eal of paintloss and a good bit of dirt n dust as to be expected from vintage objects d'art!
