Here's another gorgeous dress I found at a recent estate sale. A perfect condition Maggi Stover dress, complete with the Stover label and its union label, too.

Where to begin to describe this vintage beauty? Well, it's made from that amazing black/burgundy lace...from a distance it appears to be black but with light or movement you discover it has a delicious burgundy red cast to it! It's layered over a black taffeta, fully lined. Extremely full s kirt. Roses patterned burgundy lace. Narrow lace straps and a charming neckline...the taffeta just peeks out the top and you really see the roses in the lace across the front neckline area.

It has a 19" working metal ziper at the back. A sweet double lace bow at the back waistline, along with a hook and eye closure. The entire dress is lined with satin. Piping at the entire waistline and a slight V back. Darts in the bodice front and back for a close fit.

The waist measures about 26", underarm to underarm is about 34". Waist to hemline is about 25". The entire hemline is scalloped lace at the bottom. Nice full gathering at the waist so the sweep is quite full.

It looks to be in absolutely perfect condition. We have looked it over very carefully and found no flaws to report.

Absolutely adorable and in terrific condition. Whether you collect vintage clothes or just love wearing vintage styles, this would be a terrific addition to your wardrobe.
