Over the course of many years and many kits, mainly starships, my husband has built and detailed quite a few variations of some of the major ships os "Star Trek". This is one of them, the "Maquis" ship from Star Trek Voyager, built and weathered to represent the studio model that he had pictures of - but, as new project arrive to be built for schools, there is a space problem (no pun intended) to house these. This one is built and solid, and can be mounted on a 1/4" rod if you choose to do so.
But there's more: While it's nice to see pictures of other's ships, when you get this built kit you will also get FOR FREE over 500 mb on "How-To": construction techniques, notes, lighting circuit boards and starship markings themselves (he's even got a letter he'll share from Andy Probert, who designed the "Enterprise - D" for the series). So, you get that plus views, data, aztec patterns, "cutaway look-sees" and kitbashes of many ships all from over 30 years of building "Star Trek" ships. There's even a sprinkling of Galactica Vipers (new and old, lighting plus kitbashes) as well as other sci-fi series ships to help encourage others to get into the hobby and dream. Hubby felt that it was more important that whoever wins this can keep it or rebuilt it up any way, all for free.
Of course, payment is due 7 days from the end of bidding, and if you want more model kit data (PT Boats to Tomcats and the like), we'll get it included, again for free. Please don't bid if you can't pay. I would add insurance - I don't trust USPS after seeing how some well packed but fragile models came through to others recently. If you have a really need to know now question, you can email hubby at theoracle7@aol.com, he'll answer - he checks his mail twice a day. Package is 24" by 15" by 3", weighs 3 lbs. I've seen this go for pretty high on Ebay, both built and unbuilt (his built and lighted one was purchased for $150.00 about a year ago) but no one included the "how-to". Also, check out my www.half.com page for other great deals, same name. Thanks for stopping by and looking, but moreover - get on out and build today!
NOTE: I have been asked by 3 people if we had markings in the data for the Maquis as well as "alien" ships - we have both. So either way, we can accomodate your desire. Cheers! AnaMarie
