(S)-Methoprene is the flea sterilizer, and the slight 3% difference in the large animal version vs. the cat version is negligible. Some animal shelters use Frontline this way to make their budgeted dollars go further, allowing them to treat more animals. This method works without sacrificing the effectiveness of Frontline Plus!
