Antique Tools: Cool Layout Tool. Cooper's Tool?

Here I have a beautiful old layout tool.  There is no evidence of a maker or patent. This tool has been very well kept!

I really have no idea what tradesman would have used this tool, my guess it is some sort of cooper's tool, purely a guess.

Both legs are 12-1/2" long

Not sure what else to say about this here tool. I hope the pictures will suffice.

Sunday nights are when all most all my auctions end. When the Sunday night auctions end I will send out invoices to those who have won more than one auction with a revised shipping cost. As many of my repeat customers know, I am a consolidation machine. It is not unusual for me to give a week or two grace period on payment in an effort to safe on shipping cost.

 In short, I aim to please, my low starting price and no reserve auctions are all the prove I need. Bid away my friends.
