Vintage c'40 F Crosetti FC Split Finger Baseball Glove







Vintage Baseball Glove/Mitt: (circa 1940) Denkert FC button-back split finger with horizontal tunnel webs measures 8½"x 9½" and is endorsed by Frankie Crosetti, 1932 -'48 (facsimile signature above center heel). Crosetti’s endorsement is listed as of above average value in the Bushing/Phillips Glove Price Guide. Soft, well-padded cowhide. No holes, rips, or tears inside or out. Leather lining chaffed and checked yet comfortably intact. Tunnel webs have been relaced. Canvas piping in fairly good condition; seams very good. Black button with silver accents on raised 5 stars and wreath shows no tarnish. Some silver still remain in stampings. No previous owner’s markings anywhere. Valued 40's split finger displays well and is enjoyable to use. Has been cleaned and conditioned. - (Click on photos for Super-Sized Images) ...
