This is a Very Old Registering Beam. I ahve tried to research it through the patent sites and the closest thing I can find is it was around the turn of the 20th century. It is in Very nice condition for it age. Under the dial that is on the head there is a chunk of cast iron that is chipped off. Has no affect on unit. It comes with the stand that it is on. This has 100000 lb capacity. Yes that is right one hundred thousand pounds. The beam is almost 67" long. the table is 66" long
