This is an advanced "CONVERTIBLE" trumpet in the key of "C" and "Bb" perfectly suited for student to intermediate players.
We are supplying 2 tuning slides with this trumpet (see picture). The first slide plays the trumpet in the key of C. You can remove this slide and replace it with the 2nd slide and it becomes a regular Bb trumpet!! No tools required! Just pull one slide out and insert the 2nd slide.
So you get 2 trumpets in 1!! Play it in the key of "C". And then change the slide to play it like a regular "Bb" trumpet. Truly a "convertible" trumpet, extremely rare and hard to find!
In this trumpet the first AND third valve slides can be easily adjusted using the ring provided. With a slightly larger bore than the student trumpet, this gives the instrument an easier blow with a greater projection and better sound without the extra effort.
