Copper Craft Guild Plaques fruit and floral design
|
Description This auction is for 2 classic Copper Craft Guild pieces from the 1960s. The Copper Craft Guild items were sold at in-house parties, similar to Tupperware parties or Home Interior. These 2 plaques are in absolute pristine condition, just gorgeous. The frames are plastic and there are wires on the back for easy hanging. The copper color is just beautiful on these pieces. The first plaque has a vase with flowers (look like sunflowers), a slice of cantaloupe and a nice handled teapot display. The second plaque includes a metal pitcher, grapes, apples, pear and roses, one in vase. Great reflection and patina to background of these pieces. This company went out of business in 1970 but these are a fine example of pieces sold during the 1950s and 60s. Unsure of name of this exact pattern, floral/fruit? Very decorative, great pieces from yesteryear. Measure 16” x 11”. One has a stamp that says Coppercraft Guild Faunton (or Taunton) Mass. One back has minor scratching. Nothing major. Email questions.
