Here is what you can expect when you buy used records from Ricks Record Rack:

• An accurate grading as to the condition of the record and the jacket.
• Specific information – should the record have the original innersleeve, posters or other items originally included when the record was first sold, it will be noted in the listing.
• Your LP record will be encased in a new high density poly antistatic innersleeve. If the LP has a custom innersleeve it will be enclosed along with the record.
• Professionally packaged for shipping. Your record will be shipped in a new box designed for shipping records.
• Prompt shipment. Most items are shipped within five days after payment has cleared. Whether you’re in the US, Europe, Australia or elsewhere you can expect prompt delivery. I send all international orders via USPS air mail, 7-9 days. I send all US orders via USPS media mail 7-9days* also. US customers may also request first class or priority for faster shipping 2-5 days.

Used record grading definitions

RECORD:

MINT – Unopened, still sealed

NEAR MINT – (NM) Glossy – no visible scratches, very light or no surface noise.

VERY GOOD+ (VG+) – Minor scratches, light surface noise

VERY GOOD (VG) – Moderate amount of scratches and surface noise. Plays OK.

GOOD (G) – Several scratches, Lot of surface noise, still plays through

POOR – Deep scratches, skipping, recommended for display or as a prop.

JACKET:

MINT – Unopened, still sealed

NEAR MINT (NM) Glossy – no marks, looks as if just been opened.

VERY GOOD+ (VG+) – Light to moderate amount of wear, slight fading, slight ring wear.  Cover is intact.

VERY GOOD (VG) – Moderate amount of wear, faded, well defined ring wear.

GOOD (G) – Well worn and faded, possible deterioration in spots

POOR – Cover is torn to the point of separation. Cover art obscured. Record can’t be enclosed.

Please note: Unless  the listing states “see photo”, the jacket shown on this listing is not necessarily the same one being sold. Please refer to the above chart for this items specific grading.

For grading purposes, all records are visually inspected.

Please note that some records may have very slight surface noise even though they have been graded as near mint. It is common for a record to have this imperfection even when first opened. On some LPs, one can hear very light surface noise even though even though there are no visible scratches.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

Records will ship within 5 business days after payment has cleared.

Shipping and Handling Fees to:

• Any US location – 3.95 media* 7-9 days/ first class 5.95 2-5 days
• Canada – 6.95
• All other international – 12.95

In the event that USPS delivery is not available to your location or shipping cost is excessively high (over amount quoted above) I will notify you via email.

All US locations will be shipped via USPS media 5-9 days or first class mail (2-5 days).

*A word about media mail; although the post office claims that media mail delivery time takes 2-9 days and it usually does. I sometimes get complaints of it taking up to three weeks or more to get your item delivered. If you are needing to get your album shipped in a hurry, I would recommend using first class mail instead.

All International locations will be shipped USPS First Class Mail. (3-10 days)

Shipping Discounts For Multiple Purchases

Buy the first LP at the regular rate, get 50%  off shipping for each subsequent LP won on the same day (24 hour period).  Discounts do not roll over to include purchases made on the next day or thereafter.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Exchanges are not available.

Should there be a problem with your used LPs performance, please send me an email explaining the nature of the problem. A refund or a return is available with your good feedback record. Returns must be received no later than 7 days after delivery.
