The ZL-1000/UV removes dust, pollen, pet dander and smoke from the air through its unique design. Air in drawn through its whisper quiet fan into the electronic filter which traps the particulate on the collector rods inside the unit! Odors are also easily removed through its Titanium Oxide catalyst. The ultraviolet light generated by the UVC Germicidal Lamp is at a wavelength of 254 nanometers and its photons have the exact energy needed to destroy the DNA of all kinds of microorganisms, including bacteria, mold spores and viruses. In fact, ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) with UVC was recently shown in a clinical trial to significantly reduce respiratory symptoms of office workers when installed in building ventilation systems. Because UVC light kills by physical destruction of the DNA, germs cannot mutate to become resistant to ultraviolet light (as they can with antibacterial agents); UVC gets them every time!

7 DAY EXCHANGE FOR SAME-ITEM ONLY.
If the item stated as brand new is found defective on arrival or incorrect item was shipped, buyer understands that the product will be repaired or replaced at seller's discretion, and be given a reasonable amount of time. All presumed defective or wrong items must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization Number before returning. Any returned package without an RMA# will be refused. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and insurance. Warranties are offered by the manufacturer and will be honored by the manufacturer.
