SHIPPING DATA
US Orders
We offer three shipping options for our US orders: USPS First Class Mail (4-7 days), USPS Priority Mail (2-3 Days) and USPS Express Mail (1-2 Days). Combined shipping is available with each of these options with an additional cost of $2.50 per item.
Combined Shipping
Please wait until you have completed all your shopping with us before you pay for your order to take advantage of combined shipping. Once you have finished shopping simply go to My EBay and Pay for your order. The items will be automatically combined and the correct shipping amount will be given. If you have any problem with this, email me at janp50@tampabay.rr.com and I will send you an invoice that combines the shipping for you.
International Orders
We offer three shipping options for our International Orders. First, we offer USPS 1st Class Mail International which takes 14-21 days depending on location. We can only ship using this method for orders up to and including $45.00 because the USPS will not insure a package for more than that using this option. No combined shipping will be available with this option.
If your order is more than $45.00, and you want to use USPS, choose option 2 – USPS International Priority Mail (6-10 days). Combined shipping is available with Option 2 for an additional cost of $3.00 per additional item.
Please note that USPS International Priority Mail does not ship to the following countries: Australia, Bolivia, Canada, France, Greece, India, Israel, Latvia, Pakistan, Poland and Romania.
The 3rd option is FedEx International Priority Flat Rate shipping which takes 2-3 days. It is shown as “Other Int’l Shipping” on our listing form that you use to select your shipping method. (Ebay does not give us the option of showing the Federal Express label.) There is no charge for additional items being shipped within one order so we fully offer combined shipping with NO ADDITIONAL COST PER ITEM with this option. For remote locations and out of coverage areas, an additional fee of $25 may be applied by FedEx. In such cases, we will contact you and provide an alternate shipping service if you do not wish to pay the additional fee. You may also want to go to FedEx Online to check if there is an out of coverage fee before placing your order. In any case, FedEx does not ship to P.O. boxes, so be sure to provide your physical shipping address.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
The customs office of your country may impose custom fees, import duties, taxes or other charges to your order. These charges vary depending on the country. Jewelry by J and L cannot provide any estimates for these fees. Please contact your local customs office for details.

Full insurance for all items is included in the charge for shipping and handling.
Delivery Time
We will always work very hard to make sure your jewelry item(s) get delivered to your destination as quickly as possible. The total fulfillment process consists of a number of important factors, however, some of which are not in our control.
A major factor is having a complete order, including gemstone preferences, if any, as well as setting modifications such as ring sizing or design modification. Our buyers sometime modify their order during the fulfillment process. This is fine with us, but we then usually have to send them a modified invoice and wait for payment to clear. This often extends the delivery time significantly. Please note, in any case, we cannot even begin to process an order until the total payment has cleared. With PayPal this is usually not a problem, but it can add time when the buyer pays with E-check.
Another important factor is for the buyer to provide accurate and specific delivery instructions with the order. Always make sure the shipping address shown is the same on both PayPal and EBay. If they are different for some reason, explain it up front. We have to resolve any address conflicts before we can begin processing an order.
Be sure to also tell us up front if there is some delivery deadline, such as for a special event such as a birthday, wedding date/anniversary, etc. If we know this, we always move your order up the priority list if needed and possible.
Finally, it is best to let us know if you are sending the item directly to someone as a gift. We always enclose a personal note with every jewelry item. If we are sending it to you, we thank you for your business. If we are sending it to a gift recipient, we tell then the item is a gift from you.
Order fulfillment time can vary. We buy all of our fine jewelry items directly from our manufacturer. This lets us give you the best prices possible, and every item you order is then made the way you specifically select. This means, however, that they need time to fulfill your order. The speed will depend on overall demand (as around major holidays), availability of settings and gemstones, and any special processing required. Under normal circumstances, items will ship within 2 business days after the order is complete and payment has cleared. We do not ship on Saturday or Sunday. If you choose USPS Express Mail for your delivery service in the US, and we receive your complete order before 1 pm EST, our manufacturer will do everything possible to ship it on the same day. If it is received after 1 pm, your order will ship the next business day.

We Accept PayPal Payments Only.
Please be advised to confirm your address to PayPal before purchasing your order. This is to protect the Seller from malicious frauds and charge backs.
RETURN POLICY
If you buy any item from Jewelry by J and L and find you are unhappy with the item for any reason, you may return it within 14 days in its original condition for a full refund less shipping and handling fees or any special charges if they apply, such as ring sizing. The only condition is that you contact us before returning the item, so we can give you a formal OK to return it, as well as exact and specific instructions on how and where to return your item. If you do not follow these instructions, the return process can be delayed for extended periods.
In addition, please keep in mind that no one really benefits from an item having to be returned. In that light, we ask that you pay particular attention to our descriptions of the jewelry we offer on ebay.
It has been our experience that most items are returned because of a disappointment in size, or the color of the stone. For this reason, we try to provide complete information about our jewelry in the item’s description. For example, we tell you the total weight in grams, the overall size dimensions of jewelry piece(s) as well as the size and carat weight of the stone(s), etc.
To avoid unnecessary returns, please read through the information and decide whether the size and/or weight are to your liking. Also, please remember that we offer natural gemstones. This means that the color and shades of the stones will vary. Therefore, it is best if you will let us know your preferred shade (light or dark stones) in a note together with your payment. This will give us the best chance of giving you exactly what you want.
If, however, you are still not satisfied with your purchase, return the item within 14 days and we will fully refund your payment (no restocking fees) less shipping and handling fees or resizing charges if any. DO NOT SEND THE ITEM BACK, HOWEVER, UNTIL YOU EMAIL US TO GET THE OKAY TO RETURN THE ITEM, AS WELL AS THE EXACT INSTRUCTIONS ON WHERE AND HOW TO SHIP IT. IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY, THE RETURN/REPAIR PROCESS CAN BE DELAYED SUBSTANTIALLY.
