GENUINE ANTIQUE MAP, NOT A MODERN REPRODUCTION. THIS MAP WAS CREATED IN THE 1850s FOR THE COMMODORE PERRY EXPEDITION. IT HAS THE ORIGINAL FOLIO FOLDS, WHICH IN SOME CASES HAVE BROWNED OVER THE 150 YEARS. HOWEVER, CONDITION IS ABOVE AVERAGE. SEE BELOW FOR CONDITION NOTES.

I APOLOGIZE FOR THE POOR PHOTO QUALITY. MAP IS TOO LARGE FOR MY SCANNER AND IT IS DIFFICULT TO PHOTOGRAPH THIS MAP WITH THE CAMERA I HAVE. PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS YOU WISH ABOUT THIS MAP.

Condition: Overall nice condition. As you can see in the photograph I took, it has the original folio folds as issued. There is some browning to the folds but NO SPLITS. A hint of age spotting. I have priced this map according to condition, scarcity, and subject matter.
