VINTAGE CALIFORNIA MAP SOUVENIR HANKY HANKIE MWT

You can say Hooray for Hollywood and you can Leave your Heart in San Francisco, but whatever you do, why not head down the Ventura Highway and take a look at this great Vintage Souvenir Handkerchief from the great State of California...

The Hanky comes to you Mint With Tag (MWT) and the Foil Sticker reads "All Cotton Philippine Made". It measures 14" Square and has a Scalloped Border. It is crisp and clean and even comes to you from a Smoke-Free Environment.

The Hanky is White and all around the Border there are Poppies (the State Flower), Oranges and Orange Blossoms. The Map of the State is outlined in White and has all the Cities and Towns in Black Lettering. This Hanky is post 1959 because it does show Mickey Mouse holding a Sign that reads "Disney Land" but curiously he is standing at the very Bottom of the Map next to the Arizona so I am thinking this was made just after the Theme Park opened. You'll also find great Graphics of the Hollywood Bowl, Hollywood Studios, Olvera Street, Knotts Berry Farm and the Farmer's Market. The Name "CALIFORNIA" is across the Bottom Left Corner in Red Lettering and all the other Graphics are done in Red, Orange, Olive Green, Black and White.
