1 Prayer for $1, and you'll be helping my family!

 

Long story short, after a very unexpected loss of clients, my company had to suspend pay.  I've continued to work for free to try and save the business to get a paycheck again eventually and searched for new opportunities at the same time, but so far, the market has been pretty poor.  I took some part-time and evening jobs, and also returned to my childhood days and do small auto repairs when I can find them to make any type of income.  My wife took a second job, and we moved in with her parents to cut costs.  In fact, we cut basically everything we could assuming the worst and realizing that it actually was happening.  A local family warmly took our dog of eleven years... that was probably the hardest decision for my wife.  We sold our cars and bought junkers that I keep running... one has no heat which is starting to really get annoying.  No cable TV, no internet (as I'm currently using our village's free access at the library), no eating out... you get the idea.  But even with all those cuts, we're still under debt, although we're not accumulating it anymore (other than interest).  To top it off, my wife's father was laid off this week, and it just feels like everything is getting piled on at the worst possible time.

 

This has been humbling for me having felt like I've been in complete control for so long, but not anymore.  My volunteer commitments to local organizations have to get cut now too.  For the past year, I've vowed to stay involved, but now, the pure expense of gas for driving to events to volunteer isn't feasible.  Perhaps this will all turn around soon, and I'm sure that it will.  My daily prayers are for strength, wisdom, and perserverance, and I'll pray for the same for you or any other request with a single dollar purchase, and please know that every little bit helps.  My family appreciates it, and I thank you for your help.
