I'm selling this great old masterdrawing, representing a fine archtitectural study.  Three male nudes are supporting a frieze, two of them placed beside a medallion.  The scene is completed with two naked putti.

The drawing, executed in pencil on laid paper, clearly was meant as a preparatory study for a larger scale project.  It can be dated in the later decades of the 18th century.

The drawing is from the Italian school.

Size of the drawing : 14x47cm.

Condition : good.  Some scattered dirt throughout.  Unframed.
