Willy Wonka Gothic Fantasy Fairy Art Beautiful Painting

This painting is one of my Most colorful and Candy filled. It shows a (young Willy Wonka) Wondering around his Chocolate Factory. Maybe it's before his Factory was closed to the public. There are many of the things that make the story and movie so much fun in this painting. The gummy bear tree, The lemon tea cups, giant toad stools made of marshmallows, M & M bushes, The giant chocolate waterfall in the back ground mixing the chocolate. There is of course Willy Wonka himself and that iconic hat.

There is a lot of detail in this 8 X 10 Canvas Print. Each Print Only 1- 25, Has hand painted details. It's as close to the original as you can get! It shows a wonderfully clear tube in the background that is pulling chocolate out from the churning river. It's the same tube Augustus gets sucked into :)

The beautifully see-through flowers, Gummy Bear Trees and chocolate water bring out such wonderful memories. I look at this painting (and many of my paintings) as a modern-day Disney Cartoon, With their big shiny eyes and happy feelings. I see that in this younger Willy Wonka perhaps before the world tainted him. Maybe this is painted high on the walls of Wonkas Factory as a mural of how things used to be before he shut it down to the public. Try looking at the lighting in this picture and experimenting with it. Neat little things and shines happen.

Artist's statement: It's hard not to be skeptical in this world, so I paint a world that I would like to escape to. I have been painting for most of my life, 25 years and I have a Associates degree in art. I prefer painting, but I do work with anything, from pencils to clay. I love animation, painting, drawing, Japanese anime, Fairies, Fantasy and mystical creatures. I wish Disney would release more animated films. I like the Pixar stuff but give us at least one hand drawn feature! I love castles and mid evil themes. When I paint I usually listen to music or watch movies. I usually don't watch TV but wait for the shows to come out on DVD, so I'm a little behind the newest shows. I love the Simpsons, Lost, Roseanne, 70's show, Sienfeld,and any funny sarcastic shows. I listen to Dave Mathews, Tori Amos, Classic Rock, Heart, Led Zeppelin, Sublime. Other interests include: Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Gene Wilder version), Time Bandits, Lord of the Rings, Stardust, Magic, The Wizard of Oz, Pink Floyd, Nintendo, The Color Purple, Braveheart, Disney, The Simpsons, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Bob Marley, trees, candles, pumpkins, Cartoons, Autumn.
