Up for consideration is an early 40s dress.  Dress is made from cotton with a blue/black  swirly pattern, the bodice is very intricate in detail and I photographed it as close as possible to show the detail.  Bodice has plunging collar and inverted pleating on the bust line with antique cream lace at the top. Very unusual indeed.  The bodice is a blouson style with raglan sleeves that end below the elbow.  Skirt is A-line and there is an attached self covered narrow belt that is secured with two hooks and eyes and dress closes with a side metal zip.

The condition of the dress is excellent and there are no flaws.

Bust:  42" (107 cm) (remember the bodice is loose fitting.

Waist:  30" (76 cm)

Hips:   42" (107 cm)

Length: 45.5" (115.5 cm)
