DAKTARI TV Series Collection Episodes from all Four Seasons 1966/1969 19 DVD Set Also including the 1965 pilot Movie Clarence the Cross-Eyed Lion . Please note that this series is over 40 years old and the quality of picture from the 1965 movie and one or two episodes of series are not as they once were Daktari premiered on January 11, 1966. Daktari (the Swahili word for "doctor") featured an American animal doctor and his daughter living on an African game reserve called Wameru. Set in Africa, this family series was based on the 1965 movie, "Clarence The Cross-Eyed Lion," and retained several of the original cast from that movie, with a few additions. 1965-1966 Daktari/Season One The Pilot (Movie)...
