WWII era uniform from the US Navy. This undated jacket is for a Lieutenant Commander Line officer has a Tropix-Tex collar tag but is otherwise unmarked. The jacket has signs of wear at the cuffs, lapels and button holes as I've shown in the pictures. It also has had the sword flap opened which is reportedly unusual on WWII uniforms. There are some separations in the lining and some toning to the bullion rank stripes. The unique thing about this set is that it comes with two pairs of original trousers. The first pair shown is in very good condition and has clear dating and stamps on the tailor tag. It is heavier weight and is button fly. The second pair shows more wear and is lighter weight. The tag is faded, but still legible. It was hard to get a clear picture. The jacket measures 22" from armpit to armpit and is 39" from the collar to the hem. The trousers are both around a 34" waist and 32" inseam. All the pieces should be dry cleaned, but I did not find any stains. This original and vintage uniform is a would be a great addition to your collection. The patches, pins, ribbons, medals, and uniforms I'm selling came from my father's collection. These items are vintage, and have been around smoking and animals. All items sold as-is, e-mail me with any questions. I've shown several pictures of the items.
