 Description Shipping and payments

You are bidding on an original circa early 1900's Flying Eagle Post Office Box Bank. There is a sunburst in the background behind the Eagle. The door is made of bronze. It has been cleaned and sprayed with a clear enamel. The coin slot on top reads "Created From Original United States Post Office Lockboxes." The dial and knob operate smoothly. This is door #16. The glass is in excellent condition. Beautiful patina on this door. This box is of heirloom quality. 

The box is made of 3/4" red oak. A coat of wood conditioner is applied followed by a coat of Minwax golden oak stain. It is finished with 4 coats of Minwax polyurethane clear satin. The combination will be provided to the winning bidder. The box measures 6-1/4" tall X 5" wide X 4-1/4" deep. Four felt "feet" on the bottom helps protect furniture. The back of the bank has the same "double edge" routing as is on the front. I will ship immediately upon receipt of payment. 

I ship to the U.S. only.

Insurance is included in the shipping charge. If I ever charge more for the shipping and insurance than it costs, I will send the difference to you in an envelope.
