 Offered is a beautiful pair of Civil War vintage French binoculars, found in a Louisiana estate a few weeks ago.  These binocs are in excellent condition, no dents or dings, with a beautiful patina.  Optics are still clear and work well.  The knob which allows you to focus on a target still work, and the optics are crisp and clear.  The brass tubes surrounding the lenses can be extended to cut down on glare and to help hide the glint of the glasses to observers.  They extend out roughly two inches.  Glasses are marked on the eye pieces to a firm in Paris.  Measures 4 3/4" long and 5" wide.  The lenses have a diameter of 2 1/4".  Please email with any questions.  Shipping and insurance for this item will be $15.
