The name Dorothee Talbot is signed at the bottom of this genuine rennaisance document handwritten in period ink and on handmade paper. Dorothee Talbot was the legitimate daughter of the 4th Earl of Shrewsbury who is known for his hospitality to Cardinal Wolsey on the Cardinal's way to be executed by Henry VIII. Lord Talbot's participation in Elizabethian theatre and arts production is extensively described in Kent: Diocese of Canterbury 3 F120. This circa 400 year old document was handwritten with a quill pen and period ink on supple but remarkably tough handmade paper. It is a long list of Elizabethains with their fees for service. At the bottom is the name (signature?) of Dorothee Talbot who is listed in latin as: "Executricu Persona Procurator" in the Diocese of Canterbury document. Size of document: 6 1/2" X 9 3/4".
