Jay Strongwater Floral Gardenia Egg Xmas Decoration MIB

A very beautiful green Marbleized glass egg by Jay Strongwater!  One side has a beautiful pink Gardenia, thickly encrusted with Swarovski  crystals on the leaves.  On the other side is leaves with a little butterfly getting ready to sip the nectar. 

 Renowned designer J. Strongwater brings his exquisite sense of color form and fantasy to glass ornaments inspired by his " jewels for the home" collection of unique frames, boxes and figurines.  These mouth blown glass ornaments have been created by world artisans in Poland.  Each ornament begins by blowing glass into a hand carved mold.  Then, silver is applied to the inside, 10 to 20 colors of the enamel are intricately painted on each ornament, which can take up to 30 hours to complete.  Finally, delicate lines of glitter and handset Swarovski crystals embellish each ornament.  Techniques and craftsmanship, culminating in the most beautiful ornaments in the world."  This wonderful egg comes in the original Jay Strongwater display box, and with all tags!  Measurements are:

Height of egg: 4 "
Diameter of egg: 9 1/2 ".

This is possibly a more conventional Christmas tree ornament but it is made so exquisitely!  The original price was $210.00.  What a wonderful GIFT to add to a collection, or for yourself.
