You are bidding on a used Britains, Ltd. # 9715 Gun of the Royal Artillery.
I had to search the internet to find the model number of this one. I hope it is correct. The drawbar of the gun has been bent/twisted by vigorous play when I was young. The gun angle can be adjusted and the sprung mechanism works well. The gun used to fire some sort of projectile and I remember you could also use "caps" that would explode when the firing mechanism was triggered. The firing mechanism still works, as well. Light to moderate paint wear from years of play.
I am selling off my childhood accumulation of diecast cars and trucks. All of these items were purchased in the early to mid-1960’s. They are definitely in used condition and reflect years of play. For the most part there is significant wear & tear on the paint and many vehicles have broken, missing or damaged components. None of the vehicles have their original boxes. I will do my best to show each item’s condition in my photos but will gladly answer any questions from interested bidders. I am not an expert so if I miss any details, please feel free to point them out.
Winning bidder pays all shipping costs listed below, and I will happily combine shipping on multiple purchases, just contact me. Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail. Payment should be made via PayPal. Winning bidders should contact me within 3 days of the end of the auction. Payment must be made within 10 days of the end of the auction.
For winners located outside of the 50 United States, I ship USPS 1st Class Mail International, unless otherwise requested by the auction winner. Please wait until I send you an invoice so I can verify shipping costs. Thank you for bidding and good luck!
NOTE: I do charge a 50 cent handling charge for domestic shipments and $1.00 for overseas shipments. Some eBayers seem to object to this so I felt I needed to address this issue. I am not a dealer, but rather a collector and I carefully pack each and every item I sell. There is a cost for packing materials - I have to pay that cost. Check out my feedback and you will see the extra care is not only appreciated by most, but recently, it saved an item that the USPS tried, unsuccessfully, to destroy with their rough handling. If you are going to leave less than excellent feedback because I include a small handling charge, then please do not bid!
