Acer Ferrari 4000 4005WLMi - Parts or repair

This was a great laptop! I had very few problems with it over its life. It did have a power jack fail early on, but I replaced it with a much sturdier metal jack and haven't had a problem since. I don't have time to try to repair it now, unfortunately. It seems to be having some sort of GPU or CPU issue. It works ok for a while, but when it gets warm, it'll put gibberish on the screen sometimes. It might just be a loose connection, as it sometimes happens if I push on the chassis a little. Again, I don't have time to fix it, so I'm not going to bother. It worked long enough for me to restore the hard drive back to the original configuration, so it does work to some degree. It has a 1px-wide green line running down the screen on the left side, 50-100 pixels from the side. This laptop is being sold for parts or repair, and is sold AS-IS. I wouldn't recommend trying to use it in its current condition, even though it boots into windows and is operational. Please expect some scuffs here & there. It's a 4 year old laptop, so it's not going to be pristine. Everything is included EXCEPT the power supply. I'm using it on another laptop, and cannot part with it. Happy bidding!
