Up for auction is this beautiful Fenton yellow custard satin glass basket with hand-painted bluebirds.  The basket has a crimped upper edge.  The bases of the handle are hand-painted with a single bluebird among some brown stems and leaves.  The front and back sides of the basket are each hand-painted with 2 bluebirds.  The bottom of the basket is artist signed "Hand Painted by J. Stevens."  The Fenton logo can barely be discerned on the bottom (it can be better felt than read).  The basket is in excellent condition.  There are no chips or cracks.  It measures 7.75" in height and 6.75" in width at its widest point.  This lovely basket would make a wonderful Christmas present!
