Up for auction is this very substantial Cranberry Glass basket. It stands just under 9 inches tall, 7.5 inches long, 5.25 inches across and approximately 3 inches deep. The beautiful cranberry color is achieved by adding gold during the manufacture process. This piece is heavy at3 pounds and 2 ounces. I wrap it in many layers of bubble wrap so that it is protected as much as I possibly can for transport. Package will be marked FRAGILE as well. I have collected cranberry glass since 1972 but I am downsizing from a house to an apartment and must sell some of my collection. My loss is definitely your gain. This item would be a very beautiful gift for someone special or add it to your own collection. There are no chips or cracks anywhere on this piece. It is in excellent preowned condition.
