Up for Auction is a Dye DM6 Paintball Marker in Red to Black Fade

This is a REAL AUCTION!  I’m starting this auction at $0.99 and there is NO RESERVE!

GREAT CONDITION: This marker is in great condition.  Everything works 100%.  There is very little wear on the marker and you will see those in the pictures below.  There is a little wear on the tip of the marker where the barrel is attached, a little on the tail where the Fuse bolt goes in, and 6 very tiny nicks.  There are a couple other little things, but they honestly don’t even count.  You will see from the pictures that this marker is wonderful condition.

The Dye Ultralite barrel is 0.688 bore.  The barrel has pretty typical general use wear on it.  The barrel tip is clear anodized, so it shows up a lot less than it would with a black one.  The bore is absolutely perfect.

Please see the high resolution photos and close ups below.  There is also a video posted of it shooting with a chronograph to show you that I’m not selling you a marker that doesn’t reach velocity.

FULL REBUILD: I’ve gone through the whole marker and replaced all the o-rings with factory specification o-rings (actually in this case the o-rings were from a Dye repair kit).  The whole marker is properly lubed with Dye Slick Lube.  You won’t find a mess of lube slathered all over the guts of this thing.

“FULLY TECHED”:  I’m not going to tell you this marker is fully tech’d or adjusted to mow people down.  All the board settings are stock and all the regulator settings are stock.  I’m not here to make you believe there’s some black magic here.   You can see from the video that the gun shoots very quickly on semi mode with just a Z board Egg.  But I am an ICD certified tech if that counts for anything.

CONSISTENCY:  I’ve installed brand new regulator seats into the Hyper 2 and the LPR on this marker.  I dry fired it a few hundred times and put about 200 shots through it prior to the video below.  It seems like the seals are pretty well seated already. 

From the video below it shot: 300, 290, 283, 283, 292, 297, 277, 287, and 287 fps.  The first shot you can pretty much discount since the Anti Bolt Stick is on and the first shot has 5ms more dwell than the others.  The 277 shot is really an outlier in the data because the cheaper paint was an inconsistent size.  It’s shooting 290 ± 7 (± 2%).  And I’m showing you in the video that it shoots this, not just making a claim.

You will have to send approximately 2000 rounds through the marker before the seats are broken in; this is per the Dye manual, not me.  So it should get even better!

I will not send you a marker that does not reach playing velocity.

SELF CLEANING EYES:  A lot of these markers have lost one of the original selling points.  People often opt for the colored led eyes and this removes the self cleaning eye function.  The self cleaning eyes are still on this marker.  I’ve replaced the self cleaning eye retainers with brand new ones so they are crystal clear.

Modifications:

Dye Ultralite Barrel Tip - Clear instead of the original black

Hybrid Gunslinger Grips – A little harder plastic with soft rubber pads – These grips actually fit the gun great, the sticky grips usually don’t quite come flush with the frame.  These fit great!  These are also good for those of us who don’t like the almost slimey feel of the Dye Sticky Grips.

Hybrid Quarter Turn On/Off ASA – This is a great ASA, the hose comes out of the center and doesn’t get in your way.  The quick quarter turn is very smooth and quick.  It also purges the pressure and allows you to remove your tank without a great deal of torque.

Black-out Screw Kit and Macro Fittings – The grip frame and grips are attached with black fasteners to give the marker a cleaner appearance.  The macro fittings are black in color as well, they are coated with a durable coating and was purchased that way, not spray painted by some amateur.
