Up for bid is a Antique Cast Iron Skillet/Dutch Oven or Spider with gate mark on the lipped lid. Three legs for sitting on hearth or campfire...deep lid for piling on hot coals to help cook what's in the skillet.  Marked on the lid is the # 12 and a marked on the bottom of the skillet reads “ No 12”.  Also on top of the lid reads two words.  The first I can’t make out the second reads “ROY CO.”  

I've never seen a lid that is gate marked. Heavy. Nice item for Collectors.
Skillet measures 12 inches across not including the 7.5 inch handle.

3 inches deep, Legs are 1.5 inches high.
