VINTAGE 1971 THE WONDERS OF MANKIND   FRANKLIN MINT SET OF 24 STERLING SILVER COIN MEDALS COATED IN 24 CARAT GOLD.EACH COIN COMES IN A CASE WHICH IS SITUATED IN A HARD COVERED PAGE SO THAT YOU CAN SEE THE NAME OF THE COIN ON ONE SIDE, AND ON THE OTHER IT IS WRITTEN  ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA WONDERS OF THE WORLD.

THIS SET IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE FIRST SETS MINTED BY THE FRANKLIN MINT BACK IN 1971.

COMES WITH AN EDITION OF ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA (1971) BOOK DESCRIBING EACH OF THE COINS.

SOME EXAMPLES ARE: THE TAJ MAHAL, THE PANAMA CANAL, THE COLOSSEUM.

Some coins have a slight discoloration but have never been removed from their cases. The three pages come with a hardcovered open ended book cover which also holds the book.

I haven't seen other sets like this available.
