"Just some information for you about this picture- It was never called Mott School. It has always been called Garfield School since it opened at 1103 North Ravine Parkway in 1915. The school was sinfully demolished in 2005 and replaced with a hideously ugly building on the same site."

EXTRACTED DIRECTLY FROM A RARE 1921 PORTFOLIO OF PHOTOS AND ARCHITECTURAL PLANS OF TEACHING AND OTHER INSTITUTIONS. IT MEASURES APPROX., (8 x 11") in INCHES (Edge-To-Edge, The Full Sheet), AND WOULD BE SUITABLE FOR FRAMING OR PLACED IN A HISTORICAL SCRAPBOOK. IT HAS BEEN MOUNTED ON HIGH-QUALITY ACID-FREE SEPIA-TONE ARCHIVAL LIGHT-WEIGHT BACKING, TO PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE PRINT, AND MAKE IT EASIER FOR HANDLING AND FRAMING. IT WAS PRINTED ON ANTIQUE FLAT-TONE (Non-Glare) PAPER IN 1921, THEREFORE; THIS ACTUAL PRINT THE BUYER WILL RECEIVE IS ABOUT 88-YEARS-OLD, AND NOT A RECENT OR MODERN REPRODUCTION. IT HAS THE IDENTIFICATION DESCRIPTION RIGHT BELOW THE PRINT-IMAGE. THE ARCHITECT(S) FOR THIS SCHOOL WAS; ('Mr. Edwin M. Gee').

CONDITION IS VERY-GOOD: WITH NO SIGNIFICANT FLAWS, (Minor age toning to the paper, clean, no rips, tears, creases or markings).
