This ORIGINAL, lobby card was designed and printed to promote the first theatrical release of the 1942, American sports/drama/romance/biography feature, THE PRIDE OF THE YANKEES. The film stars Gary Cooper as Lou Gehrig, with Teresa Wright, Babe Ruth, Walter Brennan, Bill Dickey, and Dan Duryea. The film was directed by Sam Wood.
The lobby card is an ORIGINAL lobby card. It is NOT a reprint, reproduction, re-issue, or commercial item available to the general public. It was created to be displayed in the movie theatre lobby to publicize the film.

CONDITION DEFECTSThe lobby card is in excellent condition. The main graphic image is outstanding, and features a nice shot of both Gary Cooper and Teresa Wright. There is some very light smudging in the border area. There are no other tears, fading, stains, smudges, missing paper, fading, folds, or pin holes. The reverse side of the card is perfectly clean. The colors are richer and brighter, than the poor JPEG image suggests.

Shipping to Canada or Mexico is $6.50 for uninsured, USPS First Class International shipping. Shipping to Europe is $11.00 for uninsured, USPS First Class International shipping. Shipping to Australia or Japan is $12.00 for uninsured, USPS First Class International shipping. Additional lobby cards may be added to the parcel for .50 cents each. Shipping by other methods, including PMI (Priority Mail International), are available with insurance, at cost. Insurance is recommended.
