• MAINTENANCE--CLEANING-- if need be, clean the tent with soapy water then rinse (with a hose if possible). Then dry completely.

• RESIN STAINS (very hard to remove): once the stain is dry, gently scratch it off whilst holding an ice cube on the inside of the fabric to make the resin brittle so it will come off more easily.

• STORAGE--after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is completely dry to prevent odours and mould formation.

• COMPOSITION-- PU-coated polyester flysheet, breathable polyester bedroom, polyethylene groundsheet, solid fibreglass poles.

• WARRANTY--All our tents are guaranteed for 2 years under normal usage conditions (your invoice or receipt gives proof of purchase date and price). In the event of a problem, have your tent checked out in your local Decathlon store.

• TESTS--The waterproofing of Quechua tents is checked by a full tent shower of 200l of water/hr/m². The water column test (=mm schmerber) is quite well known but is not a good indicator for measuring tent waterproofing, only for fabric. Of course, the fabric needs to be waterproof (and is from 1,000mm!), but the tent must be designed and developed to keep water out of seams, flaps, openings, zips etc. This is tested in a lab tent shower.

• WATERPROOFING--Like all Quechua tents, the waterproofing has been particularly well-developed, approved in lab tests (WHOLE TENT in a shower of 200 litres/h/m2!) and on field tests. (PU coated polyester flysheet, 120 g/m² polyethylene groundsheet, thermobonded sealed seams.) A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.

• VENTILATION--1 upper ventilation flap at the back, 2 low side flaps, breathable bedroom fabric. You can leave the bedroom door half-open at the top thanks to the 2-way zip. Everything is designed to allow air to circulate between the bedroom and flysheet, for more breathability and to limit natural condensation.

• POLES--Solid fibreglass for excellent break resistance.

• TENT PEGS--5mm galvanised steel pegs for good twist-resistance.

• COVER--Flat, 70cm diameter disc.

• UV PROTECTION--Our tent fabrics block over 98% of UVB and 80 to 95% of UVA rays. If you are looking for daytime protection, remember that a lot of UV rays reflect off the ground and in through open doors.
• PITCHING/FOLDING--Instant pitching. Free-standing tent (place it wherever you like after pitching, and if there's no wind, no need for pegs = ready to use!). 11 pegs and 4 guyropes included if needed. Folds down in 15 seconds (once you have the "knack" as shown in the instructions and on www.quechua.com).
