1940 HAND PAINTED SIGNED Ceramic TABLE LAMP shabby chic

 Vintage Hand painted and signed Ceramic Table Lamp. Shabby Chic ~ all the way. Very evocative of the 1940s  to the early 50s.  Signed by "Rathry"? BIG Purple and pink/ purple roses with greenery and raised whited paint outlining, on a creamy white and rich purple background with lots of gold trim.  The base is 2 layers of incised fake bronze. The finial is great, a beautiful bright red glass orb about  an inch in diameter. The body of the lamp stands about 20 inches high and about 8 inches at its widest point. With the shade I have on it (which is not included in the sale, for demonstration only!) the lamp stands 34 inches tall. So the harp is approx 14 inches tall.
