Thank you and please read the description below. Up for auction is this lovely MAHOGANY DUNCAN PHYFE TABLE WITH FOUR newly upholstered chairs and table pad. This table has twin Pedestal spayed legs turned and needed in the traditional Duncan Phyfe style. It has ormolu mounts on the feet in very nice condition. I believe this was produced in the 1940's, but I am not exactly sure since I recently purchased this item at an antique market. I believe this has been refinished to bring back the rich Mahogany luster back to life and in the original condition. The table is in excellent sturdy condition with exceptional working brackets for the leaves to adjust easily in the up or down positions. This is a very well constructed table. The chairs are very sturdy without any damage or cracks. The Table dimensions are: 21 X 36 inches wide with both leaves down 54 X 36 inches wide with both leaves extended 29 and 1/2 inches in Height No Center leaf available The Chair dimensions are: 34 inches high from the feet to the top of the chair 17 and 1/2 inches high from the feet to the cushion The front part of the chair is 18 and 1/2 The cushion is 16 and 1/2 inches in depth This is a lovely set and ready to use in your dining room. It has minor teeny surface scratches and character flaws consistent with it's age. It actually looks as nice and new as shown in the pictures provided. This table is simply pretty with four open back chairs to match. As shown in the pictures you can easily change the fabric to match your own decor. This table has the pads included to protect the tabletop when entertaining.
