Movie description
John Ritter and Polly Draper star in this adaptation of HEARTBEAT, the bestselling novel by romance author Danielle Steel. Bill Thigpen is a successful television producer whose workaholic attitude leads to the dissolution of his family. Although he initially enjoys his newfound freedom, after a while he comes to want for something more. Meanwhile, Adrian Towers is impregnated by her husband Steven, who offers her a devastating ultimatum, to choose between him and their growing baby. She chooses the child, and enters a life of loneliness, until she meets Bill by chance. They find in each other someone to alleviate the isolation they feel, but soon a strong and powerful romantic connection develops between them. HEARTBEAT is a tale of romantic fulfillment and redemption from one of the most significant authors in the genre.
