This fantastic tea for two set was manufactured by the famous Noritake manufacturers, from Japan. It was produced during the 1930's, and is typically Art Deco in style and design. It consists of a tea pot, milk jug, sugar bowl, and two cups and saucers. It is decorated with patterned banding, picked out in cobalt blue and gilt, against a deep cream and white ground. Each piece is finished in high quality gloss glaze.

Condition & Size

There is a tiny nick to the inside upper rim of the teapot, which is common in a piece of this vintage, and does not greatly detract. Otherwise, the set is in very good condition, with no cracks or restoration. The tea pot measures approximately 3¾" to the height of the finial, the milk jug measures approximately 2½" in height, the sugar bowl measures approximately 2" in height, each cup measures approximately 2¼" in height, and each saucer measures approximately 5½" in diameter.
