This well built Carvin 1x15 bass guitar speaker cabinet was purchased new in 1981, with an 8 ohm Electro-Voice speaker in it. About 10 years ago, I added a second port, and replaced the EV with a 4 ohm Carvin PS15 driver for more volume, and power handling. For it's size, it really cranks out the low end, yet still retains clarity. Great cab if you are trying to downsize. I built a set of cabinets about 11 years ago, and am not using this one anymore. It is still in pretty good condition considering how many miles of this country it has covered! It's a mini monster, with a Tuki cover!
